Each month I studied a plant, observed, ruminated, and collected samples for the Lab, making inks, lakes, pigments.
This series of small paintings is called ‘Seeing Our Unseen Friends’ - beginning with a ritual in the woods asking Spirits of the Woods to safely show themselves in the play of ink on paper.
This Friend knows self-defence, knows the rage of the Warrioress. A wild friend, fast and often furious.
