Filmed with thanks at a party where Joe Caswell and band played, people danced. As my phone overheated from 16 to 3%, I managed to capture some visuals. The slur and stretch of the evening resonated with my observations of the Bramble (part of the Rosa family).
Living in the perfect habitat for brambles on brambles, I got close, go scratch, tripped, knurled and entangled. I dined on the fruits. Individually, I saw young adventuring pink tips. Collectively, I saw a Sisterhood, generations of growth in support of the holistic family.
So here is my poem, with noises some found some captured from broken CDs. Any desire to represent or honour the incredible sound of the band would need more than my measly 16%.
