The recognisable becomes foreign, and the strange is disclosed as familiar. Past and present merge. Solid turns into dream. Known meanings are disrupted, and new ones are created.

Working with ‘Found Objects’ one enters a dialogue with the territory of memories, the collective as well as the private. Through appropriation, the given object reveals its poetic transience: what once was a violin is now also a mountain, and the suitcase a bed of carrots. Re-naming the world like this is a way of re-possessing it.
