By  Bob Budd 2014

Bob Budd

A site specific artwork made for the arts project `Sporen' in the city of Ypres, Belgium, 2014, close to the Menin Gate, Made in barbed wire, 100 years after the start of the First World War, the artwork represented a traditional Christmas tree decoration, a response to the wish that the war would be over by Christmas, the installation suggesting it was in a bomb crater.
