Honesty Plant in Summer

From my walking and gathering of plants and seeds arise my inspiration; connections to nature and the human body with its often symbolic or metaphorical meaning. Especially, the "Honesty" plant, a non-native species that humbly grows on waste ground and roadside verges, carries a spiritual significance by allowing us to see through to its innermost depth. Thus, the plant’s seeds often appear in my paintings.
