I dreamt of Coventry & thought of you...

I was commissioned by Creative Giants for client Coventry City Council and Avanti West Coast to create an original installation for the Grade II Listed Coventry Station, as part of the £80m development and Station Masterplan and to celebrate Coventry City of Culture 2021 (extended into Summer 2022). The work covers almost 350sqm of glazing in the 1962 Modernist building. It is digitally printed onto optically clear glazing vinyl and celebrates the city through the eyes of a visitor. Coventry's heritage and vibrancy is celebrated through interconnected pattern and colour via an interconnected visual narrative, using storytelling and an accompanying audio work. The work is temporary and will be in place until Summer 2024.
