Imagining Woodlands

A cross-disciplinary project with art, literature, science and archaeology, exploring perceptions of woodlands in the UK. The project is ongoing and is developing several strands, including a new teaching module for the University of York, Invisibility Walks in Leicester's Aylestone Meadows with the University of Leicester, and Microseasons, a project with science and art considering change over a year. Imagining Woodlands currently involves artist Jo Dacombe, Lecturer in Early Modern Literature, Dr Freya Sierhuis, and paleaoecologist Dr Suzi Richer.
