In Passing We Remain

A dialogue in the street about cremation or burial through a game of 5 stones and reference to Sir Thomas Browne. Passersby were invited to play the game, to select an epitaph card and add it to the memorial book; or devise their own. Children and inebriated young men drew pictures, families helped each other and and couples found they didn't know each other so well.
