In Tatters (A botanical map after the fall of the empire)

A large-scale drawing using bleach on tattered and worn found fabric.  This was made for a solo exhibition at Rome Botanical Gardens (Italy) and is based on an engraving from the 1850s showing the different regions of various plants/foodstuffs. Now, due to climate change, all of these zones are shifting and the produciton of crops is hugely imperilled due to unpredictable weather and weather events.
