Pencil and acrylic on paper. 61 x 45 cm
An imp vaults the globe (a small girl's head) . The hare woman lands a soul upon the shore.
The interpretation should be for the viewer. I have been preoccupied with the old symbols in our culture - the hare and the moon, both as symbols of motherhood, Melangell as the Welsh patron saint of hares and small animals, the head as container of the soul.
