From PR: In Your Hands saw critically acclaimed Manchester-based artist-curator Mike Chavez-Dawson perform as Mic Alche; with a one-to-one palmistry service he will scrutinise your artistic temperament & success from the creases of your hands and the veins in the whites of your eyes. Mic Alche’s regalia sees him don a René Magritte inspired overcoat & bowler and a gold painted face (ref: Beuys, How to Explain Pictures to a Dead Hare). In addition to his reading, each willing participant will receive a hand-map painting of her/his hands as a keepsake for taking part.
