Inner-currents

By Angela Davies 2026

Expanded book - projection on cotton paper

filmed on Super8mm, 3 minutes

The river, occupying the space between territory and archive - a cultural container where the eddies meander social and ecological relations. And in this space, an act of marbling, as with bookbinding, serving both as frame and protection in echoes of an industrial past.

The footage of Afon Rheidol and the valley was captured on Super8 analogue film and digitised for the exhibition Agor Llyfr, Capel Bethel.

With very special thanks to Louise Short and Alice Forward for the invitation and support.
