Zenobia

By  Angela Davies 2013
Zenobia illustrates a play on the micro to macroscopic, where the urban landscape of Offa’s Dyke has been mapped, with particular attention to the river ecology and the urbanisation of Wrexham over the past 200 years. Light is projected over the intricacies of the sculpture to speculate on the illusion of space and time. The various heights and ladders cutting across the piece links a language of space. The light frames the sculpture, to evoke movement, upon interaction and this movement of the shadow embodies an experience of time.
