Here a Wayward Angel from the Book of Enoch is caught in moment of abandon. According to Enoch a band of irreverent Angels bred with earth women and taught humanity all manner of mischief from the forging of weapons to beautifying the eyes with makeup and magic through roots and herbs. It is certainly a tantalising creation myth for a figurative painter.
