Kulturmenu (Policeman's Favourite)

Made as part of the Kulturmenu project, Stuttgart, Germany Having lived in Stuttgart, many years ago, I was reminded of the time I was searched by the police - they were looking for drugs, and thought I looked like a suitable suspect. I made some sausages, in pig casings, in memory of my intimate liaison with the police An exercise in how to `hunt/gather' food in a city context, how food can be identified and defined, and how food can become an expression of the place it is found and prepared in. Based on the romantic ideal of finding food in nature.
