The handmade Kumihimo braids depict snakes from the Viperidae family. Each is a representation of the characteristic colour pattern of a specific species, scaled to half its length. Secret compartments, in the handmade cabinets, contain hand-coloured, concertina style booklets that inform the collections and removable perspex doors allow individually boxed specimens to be removed for closer inspection. silk and metallic thread, handmade boxes and wall cabinets, hand coloured concertina booklets
