In 2013 I co-founded Library Interventions, a series of artists' residencies, for Leeds College of Art Library. Artists were invited into the Library to research and develop new work in response to our collections. The results included readings, performance, workshops, publications, drawings, games and film, all in some way exploring language through the space and content of the Library collections. Participating artists in the first series were Garry Barker, Pavel Buchler, Sharon Kivland, Graham Head and Kate Briggs.
The first series was organised with my colleague Nick Norton, supervised by Jayne Roberts and Chris Graham, with much support from the library team.
