Light and Dark

This is a 3D scanned model of the asteroid 67P that was discovered by Churyumov & Gerasimenko of the Soviet Union in 1969. These found space objects are created out of rock, metal, dust and ice and can be seen to weave a fine line between creating life and taking it away. The size and mass of this pre- sculpted model object dwarfs our perception of life, death and the persistence of time.
