The holographic 'cube' protrudes through the surface of the piece into the observer's space and is intercepted by the more 'traditional' drawing of a cube on the glass plate.
Part of a series of three pieces (Point, Line and Plane Addition), produced in association with the Light Fantastic Gallery, London.
During the 1980s many were sold, as individual works (not as a series), by the gallery and were included in several survey exhibitions of holography by artists, at galleries and museums world-wide.
