Literary Atlas of Wales

A re-imagining of part of 'The Rebecca Rioters' by Amy Dillwyn for Cardiff University Geography Department. The 'Literary Atlas of Wales' is an interactive online atlas that offers maps which locate English-language novels set in Wales, interviews with authors and artwork commissioned from 12 artists. The approach on this project involved a series of walks and investigations, approached through a process of being in conversation with the book and its sites, in effect layering place and imagination, language and image. This generated a series of experiments from drawing and photography to film using a GoPro and mobile phone as well as the folding sketchbooks. The project was launched at the National Museum of Wales as part of the Royal Geographic Society International Conference (2018). http://literaryatlas.wales/en/art/artwork/the-rebecca-rioter/
