Lithic Pink
This new Lithic sculpture explores a softer palette of mineral pinks, layered with charcoal markings and subtle traces that suggest weathering, mapping and memory. The surface feels almost as though it has been exposed over centuries—its history gradually revealed through erosion rather than decoration.
I’m interested in how the gentleness of the colour changes our relationship with the work. Despite its warmth, the sculpture retains a sense of weight and permanence, sitting somewhere between an ancient geological fragment and a contemporary object.
Each piece in the Lithic series continues my exploration of time, material and landscape—forms that feel familiar, yet difficult to place, as though they have always existed.
