Losing Eden

For this exhibition at Berlin-Weekly, the space was transformed into a greenhouse gable end, filled with plants crafted from recycled materials.

In our time of climate crisis, the greenhouse acts as both a symbol of humanity's destructive power and global warming, as well as our ability to nurture and care for the natural world.

The warm light in the evening, inviting and comforting, had less detrimental effects than white light, including being kinder on insects.

The harsh white light in the day projects the imagery of the plants, giving it a hologram effect, shifting and changing as the viewer passes from side to side.

This installation was viewable 24/7 in the window of Berlin-Weekly, from the 24.11.23 until the 14.01.24
