The essence of Lucy’s practice is the female body and its life experience relics : Clothes. Textiles. Using her own, and very much worn twin knickers and hair as raw materials, Lucy weaves together and reclaims her inner self. Suspended across, high above, in mid-air, demanding that the viewer looks up to see her, ‘Lucy Juicy-Juicy Lucy’ is an emotional response to her past chanted nickname.
