The Brides Clothes is an installation of a bride's fitting room reconstructed for ten female wedding garments. It is an interactive work and invites the viewer to select and 'try on' the left-over sections from the original garments (sleeves, skirt netting's, bows, veils and shoes), and stand behind the work and view themselves in the mirror. Commissioned by Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham and Craftspace Touring for 'A Sense of Occasion' touring exhibition 2000-2002 and Fabrication at Angel Row Gallery, Nottingham. The Brides Clothes is part of the Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery's Textile Handling and Outreach Education Collection.
