Manifestations of a Cube #7 (84 lines, 78 holes)

Developed from the series of Manifestations of a Cube drawings on paper, this work extends Cube #7 drawing on paper into an installed wall drawing, building up from layers of paint, with a panels of charocal and graphite, the drawing spine of stainless steel rods, and finally the suspended charcoal lines. The significance of CYAN panels are the visual 'anchor' of the piece with the other components free to shift over it. As the viewer moves position or a breath of air catches the suspended lines the cyan solid colour remains opaquely consistent and absorbing.
