Miniprints

The latest Galerie Mayci show features the work of Maria Gaete Gwynne in the exhibition, Miniprints'.. Miniprint is a recognised category in the world of fine art printmaking. The image size is generally no more than 10cm x 10cm. Maria Gaete Gwynne has been making prints, including mini prints, since graduating from the Universidad de Chile in Santiago. She has lived and worked in Birmingham, as an artist and lecturer, for more than 40 years and her work can be found in national and international museums and collections. In recent years she has been a prizewinner twice in the prestigious Cadaques Miniprint Festival, given lectures in Spain and Germany and has been the recipient of Awards from the British Council and Arts Council England.
