This image is part of a commission to create five lightboxes for permanent display in the new Arts Council England offices in Nottingham. The images blur the distinctions between documentation, landscape and still life. They were made at both the vacated offices in Loughborough and the new ones in Nottingham, the brief to 'Bring the Outside Inside'. The images are a reminder of the quiet rural setting left behind and that the new urban setting itself holds pockets of solitude, flora and fauna. The lightboxes with curved edges set into the walls symbolise these exteriors pushing from the outside and into the offices.
