Stockport New Hospital Commission 1

Part of a community consultation commission to create photographic artworks for Stepping Hill hospital corridors. The themes were chosen by children from a local school who attended basic photography workshops, during which they were asked to draw the kind of pictures they felt should be exhibited in the hospital. I then interpreted the drawings and created these photographic images based on the most common themes, sky, landscapes and water. The images have been produced as Acrylic Sandwich Blocks, giving clean, low- maintenance artworks, ideal for the hospital setting.
