Details can be sometimes be hard to stomach. Each year 35 million pheasants are released on to shooting estates, disrupting the natural environment. Many pheasants do not reach the food industry but are left in piles to rot.
Flooding the countryside with 35 million pheasants for the game shooting industry not only disrupts the natural fauna and flora of our environment but also hides a myth that all shot birds go to the food industry.The work comprises of three visually interlinked parts wall mounted with a small pile of spent cartridges at the foot of the work.
