Edition of 10 (in 3 sizes) This series started on the streets of Chatellerault, a post- industrial town, where I recorded images of discarded items and rubbish, things less than ordinary. This has led me in various directions and thought processes but essentially I began to abstract the countryside by using cloth and then plastic, which was perhaps a contradiction of the usual way plastic is seen the rural setting. I also consciously had the work of Monet in my mind reflecting how he simply began to observe different moments of light and colour.
