Nature's First Green

Dimensions
30cms x 30cms x 30cms approx.

Free standing sculpture: Wood , paint, copper, and reclaimed materials. This sculpture explores and plays with the underground root systems of bulbs and plants, examining how they derive fuel from the earth and capture energy from the sunlight..for many ' Photosynthesis' is a word that we hear in the classroom at school but we never really engage with just how phenomenal a process it is. 'Natures First Green' plays tribute to this brilliant, natural process and the intricate unfathomable power that plants hold.
