North Sea II

Small painting of the North Sea made in reference to my own photos taken while swimming in it. The greens are true to its colour and the sky is a typical English lavender grey which reflects on the peaks of the waves. I have a dislike of blue skies and blue sea paintings and wanted to reveal a truer picture. Painted using my core four colours I have been using for the last five years. The two paintings with this title meet to make a diptych.
