Modelled on a stephenson screen weather station, Observation Station is part wunderkammer, plinth, cabinet, secret box, house, exhibition, installation, commentary on a wary relationship with our entangled ecosystem, machine for seeing that doesn't see, a machine for recording a lot of data, for re-use and holding art, or not holding art, a place to engage in knowledge transfer, or to see that knowledge disappear, somewhere to gather information, or anything else, open or closed, indoors or outside.
