Parcel (string series 2)

String is cut and the ends are tied together. The mood of the work is light, delightful and has a humorous aspect. The coils of the string, now released are bubbling with energy. The shapes function in a similar way to ink blot tests with a variety of interpretations including parcels, clouds, islands, waves, ghosts, blobs of clay, speech bubbles, something inside wriggling to come out, jinnis. The string also functions as a means of tying these ideas together.
