I worked a number of years on this painting which is a familiar occurrence for me. This is one of those key pieces which become a reference for the next body of work.

Reparation 1

Bcalm has a history of transition starting from 2013 when I exhibited this painting in a solo show in London, Thomas and Paul Gallery. Returning after the show I modified the painting by simplifying the complex array of shapes and making subtle changes to the colour values. Then in early 2015, post West Pier Art project, I changed it again.
