Passages Seven continues a series of work that pictures the liminal space of symbolic archways and thresholds. A passage may be a place of departure and an opening to unknown possibilities; the threshold is its margin or border. The painting hints at the colonnades and gardens of Roman villas and the teasing perspectives of their wall painting.
