Pegasus # 5

50 x 50 x 4 cm

This work plays with the paradoxical practice of visualising the impossible which painting reveals and aims to dissolve the familiar narrative, the solidified metaphor, opening up other meanings and feelings. This is from a series of Pegasus Paintings based more on flight than horsiness; Pegasus # 5 refers to his appearance from blood spilled at the death of Medusa.
