Penny Histories

Lit & Phil book's presents a journey of screen printed images and text, connecting Newcastle's Literary & Philosophical Society (one of the oldest independent libraries outside of London) and a commission of Artists Books initiated by Paolo Cabrini, Milan. Cabrini is interested in distributing the completed works throughout Italy, with one copy of the edition being donated to Palazzo Sormani (the central library of Milan). The edition is a series of hand made printed books; each book is unique and is constructed using a concertina technique permitting the work to become a sculptural object.
