“Phaedra Two” touches on motifs on Minoan pots and detail on an ancient Greek Krater that illustrates the Myth of Phaedra including a hint of a Gorgoneion. The bronze central motif refers to the age when the myth is set [Minoan Crete]. The painting is intentionally painterly and untidy suggesting old, unstable surfaces.
