Each tin contains a cloth fragment of a map of Salisbury Plain. Stitched into the maps are areas were the objects in kilner jars have been gathered, such as chalk, daisies, beach and pine nuts, insects, bones, juniper twigs, Samples and mementoes of a place and time on Salisbury Plain captured in persevering kilner jars. The work was part of 'Cicatrix - the scar of a healed wound' an ACE funded WW1 centenary project that investigated aspects of conflict, memorials, scaring and the land. www.cicatrix.co.uk LED lights and mixed media
