Platic_Shot

‘Plastic Shot’ illustrates a broken game bird in flight its fear and disorientation as it sweeps chaotically across the path of cartridges and all this for a group bonding session reliving a make-believe world of man as the hunter. The birds when disturbed can fly high in fright, within the Cruel Sport fraternity they quote that “good birds fly best when pushed towards home”. A sad journey for this beautiful bird. In her artwork Linda set out to express the broken bird’s flight into a downward trajectory a journey that will never reach home.
