Play, Perform and Picnic

Lakawanna Park in Penticton BC, Canada was an underused park. My brief within the Okanagan/Thompson International Sculpture Symposium was to regenerate it. At one end are two crescent shaped earthworks bounded by neon light beneath glass blocks. At the other end are three circles of stones and gravels - yellow on white, purple on pink, grey/white on white - both areas are for sitting and playing on.
