PLAYING WITH MY MIND 7 A1 DIGITAL IMAGES IN FRAMES, 2023
Arranged as an open flat-pack box, images of toys fill the frames. Their shadows, however, tell a different story.
Playing with my Mind hints at fear and trauma in a young person’s psychological space through images in the shadows.
Articulating the trauma of displacement, war, disease and conflict, one imagines their unexpressed fears.
With the news amplifying experiences of conflict globally, we fail to see its impact on children.
