Precipice

Filmed from a 2p Coin Pusher machine ‘Precipice’ explores the moment of anticipation, of excited expectation. The coin shelf moves back and forward on a seemingly infinite cycle, the clunks and whirs of arcade machines play out from within with victory chimes and cascades of coins adding to the anticipation that the coins featured may drop but without them ever doing so. 
The screen itself is utilised mimic the coins presentation in the machine, causing the viewer to look down upon the coins, waiting for the moment of drop.
Precipice is a single movement of the ‘coin shelf, looped with 4.5 min of looped audio.
