Presence

Created as a site specific response to an opportunity to exhibit within an empty Volkswagen car showroom. This piece uses impression as an a metaphor for loss and memory. The postal waste left at the site was used to cast the impression of a VW mk2 golf car seat, capturing the texture of the fabric and the shape of the seat, but changed and slightly confusing as it does not directly reference the original.
