Primary Shift

Primary Shift is the result of a commission to document the construction of a South London school.  

The school offers something different by challenging traditional teaching methods and we wanted to challenge the traditional methods of recording the construction of the innovative new school. Working with teachers, pupils, contractors and construction workers I tried to capture the soul and ambition of the construction and the benefits in being unconventional. 

The year long project produced a short film for Willmott Dixon, their client, stakeholders and a publication for the pupils who shaped the project.
