Primordial Cell
Wood Panel (Lightweight Birchwood 2cm deep ready to hang no frame needed), Threads, Ink, Acrylic, Oil, and Pastels
As I am interested in observing how everything is interconnected and coexists, a scientific concept of a primordial cell proposes a curious idea that all could be traced to a single common cell which we all share and carry. Therefore, this painting compresses all creation to that very first moment of existence with intermingled seeds, veins, and arteries to form an imagined primordial landscape that helps me ponder upon our shared past and to realise that my family and home is all around and comprises of humans and non-humans alike.
