Prisoner of war

By Bettina Furnee 2009

Douglas Atfield

Temporary text-based installation using 13 window spaces and walls at the second world war Battery Observation Post at East Lane, Bawdsey during summer 2005. The texts, written by Simon Frazer, are based on the spoken wartime memories of the people of Bawdsey who were mostly young adults during the war (see: ifever.org.uk) and go to 'site-specific works' and 'prisoner of war'.
