Przemówienie/Speech Clare Charnley and Magda Sowierszenko

Part of series of evolving collaborative performances in countries that do not have English as a first language. I deliver a speech in the language of the host country. Gradually it becomes clear that I am acting as a mouthpiece for someone else – That I am repeating words that some unseen person is electronically whispering in my ear. Although my voice and gestures are expressive, they have an arbitrary relationship to my speech – evidently I have no idea what I am talking about. Everyone else understands ‘my’ words
