Quarter Four (version 1)

Quarter Four is a video artwork that is both an ode to the artist's resilience and a critique of perceived vulnerability throughout the artistic process. The artist sits in a green screened office as she takes out an edible anatomically correct chocolate heart from her shirt and eats it in one sitting. Dealing with themes of labour, health, sacrifice and consumption, 'Quarter Four' asks: how much of oneself should one give to the work?
